Puppies

Shorewind's Maiden Voyage (Maddie) was bred to BISS Ch. Puckett's Supercharged (Paxton). An all black litter was whelped in March 2011. These puppies are already spoken for.

Since we only breed occasionally, with the intention of keeping one or two to improve our breeding program, our lives literally stop to focus on raising a litter. Each pup is raised as if it will be the one staying. We don't make our decision which pup that will be until they are 8 weeks of age.

As infant pups (from 24 hrs - 3 weeks old), we perform Early Neurological Stimulation on a daily basis. A series of these exercises will produce neurological stimulations, none of which naturally occur during this early period of life.

Our puppies are exposed to everyday life noises. They are raised in our living room with the rest of our family and are exposed to all different surfaces, situations and conditions. They will have had a car ride and been in water (depending on the time of year). By 8 weeks of age, they will be crate and clicker conditioned.

Our puppies are well socialized with the help of Boys and Girl Scouts of America. We help them earn badges and learn about properly caring, handling and training puppies and in return they offer proper child socialization. Pups will go to their new homes microchipped with dewclaws intact. All of our puppies are sold on AKC Limited Registration.
